detailed description
Acutec ™ 35 gas detector
Acutec ™ The 35 system adopts the latest online gas monitoring technology and provides a flexible, reliable, and self testing detection system through a compact modular design structure.
Acutec ™ The 35 system adopts the latest online gas monitoring technology and provides a flexible, reliable, and self testing detection system through a compact modular design structure. It uses sensors to detect chlorine, ammonia, or sulfur dioxide gases in the ambient air, Acutec ™ The 35 system is an ideal choice for gas leak detection in storage containers, process pipelines, or gas supply equipment in water, sewage, or industrial plant environments.
The world's best gas detection system
Acutec ™ The 35 system adopts a modular design structure, so no matter what configuration is chosen, a standard housing can be used for simple and neat installation.
Acutec ™ There are two types of receivers to choose from, a detector and a monitor. The monitor has an LED display screen and mA signal output. Each receiver has two alarm settings. Low concentration warning can only indicate instantaneous leakage situations, while secondary alarm can always issue alarm signals in more serious leakage accidents. In addition, ACUTEC 35 also comes with a self detection unit (optional) and forms part of the gas generator, which can automatically test the probe every day. When the probe fails, an audible alarm can be issued. This additional security feature can reduce the cost of manual testing processes.
Combined with Acute ™ The characteristics of the 35 system itself, EVOQUA, with its strength in chemical dosing and disinfection, can provide strong technical support and services, which further enhances Acute ™ The performance of the 35 system as a gas detection system. Acutec ™ Each component within the 35 system has undergone precision machining and rigorous testing, resulting in excellent accuracy and reliability.

install
Adopting a flexible modular design structure, the installation of single or multi-point gas detection systems can be easily completed.
Each detection point requires the installation of a sensor/transmitter and a receiver module. Sensors/transmitters must be installed on-site for easy detection, and receiver modules can be installed up to 300 meters (1000 feet) away. A power module that can meet the operational needs of two receivers, installed together with the receivers in a NEMA 4X enclosure.
In order to facilitate the passage of randomly provided 1/2 "FNPT (12.7 mm) cables, all four sides of the casing have conduits. These NEMA 4X grade polystyrene enclosures are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The polycarbonate transparent cover with wear-resistant hinge connection can clearly distinguish the reading of the indicator and facilitate the installation of the control panel. In addition, it is equipped with a piezoelectric horn that can provide on-site alarm.
Receiver module
There are two types of receivers to choose from: the detector detects existing special gases, including two gas alarm setpoints and three configurable gas alarm relays. At the same time, separate sensor alarms and relays are also provided. In addition to the above features, the monitor also provides an LED display screen to show gas concentration (in PPM) and an isolated 4-20mA output. Each module can be fully adjustable, and the single point switch on the front panel provides alarm confirmation, function reset, and alarm relay blocking. Optional self check start and LED indicator testing, in addition to LED strip lights providing a visual alarm status indication.
Power module
The power module can be installed next to the receiving module, receiving 85-255VAC power input and providing 12VDC output to the receiving module without changing any conditions. Provide indication of power failure through the built-in alarm relay.
A power module can provide power to one or two receiving modules, as well as power to sound alarms and optional backup batteries.
Controller housing
Install one receiver module inside the single probe standard housing, and install two receiver modules inside the dual probe standard housing. The enclosure has a protection level of NEMA 4X and is equipped with hinged polycarbonate windows. The built-in sound alarm buzzer is also a standard configuration.
Sensors/transmitters
The high-efficiency electrochemical sensor and transmitter installed at the site where there is a possibility of gas leakage are both enclosed in a NEMA 4X enclosure. The amplified gas concentration signal is transmitted to a remotely installed module, with a maximum transmission distance of 300 meters (1000 feet).
The sensor can be equipped with a self checking device, which consists of an electrochemical generator that automatically detects the sensor every day. If any malfunction is found, an alarm will be triggered. The optional self checking device can also provide early warning when the sensitivity of the sensor decreases, and remind the user when the sensor needs to be replaced.
Backup battery system
The optional backup battery is a sealed lead-acid battery installed in a separate casing. In the event of power loss, it can maintain full functionality of all receiving modules for up to 12 hours in a single probe system. In a dual probe system, it can last up to 6 hours. When the external power is turned on, the battery can be continuously and automatically charged.
